Download and try for yourself
Give the free version a spin! You can conveniently install it right from this page.
The trial version will not load any extra stuff that might make your computer unstable, nor any dodgy toolbars or advertising.
The .telexer trial is fully functional, but a small limitation applies – see below. It comes pre-configured with six feeds. These are just examples to get you started; you’re more than welcome to throw them out and add your own.
Upgrading to full version is super easy – you won’t need to re-install – just get the Activation key by clicking the Buy button on the Prefs tab, or the one on this site. With this key you can activate the full version from within your installed trial copy.
Easy web install
When you click on the installer badge here on this page, the application will be downloaded and installed from here, the Air way. It will check to see if you have the Adobe Air player installed already – basically, a flash player for the desktop – and if not, it will install that as well. In the dialog, click “Open” instead of “Save” to start the automatic install process. The installer will also warn you that the application will get “system access”. This just means that it does the same as any other application, in that the .telexer will store your settings and preferences on your computer. Nothing dodgy, just convenient.
Licence agreement legalese
By clicking on the “install now” button, you agree to the following EULA:
What do you get – and what not
Yes, sorry, the trial version *is* limited – in a minor way. Every time you start up the .telexer, you’ll get notified automatically about news events that have occurred – but *in the trial* those notifications will take place for the first two hours only. After that, you still have the option of manually refreshing a feed. Or just restart the application, and with it the two hour period of auto-notifications. In this way you can *test* the application and see if you like it, and I can be confident there’s just no easy way to crack the trial.
You also will not get automatic updates – the full version will give you the option to get the latest version and install it automatically, so you’ll always have the most recent version running.
But for the rest – you’ll get it all! This page has more on what you get in the full version. Have you looked at the features? After download, start exploring by checking the feeds below.
