Marshall Kirkpatrick of ReadWriteWeb calls 2009 a very big year for RSS in a New York Times top ten overview. The list is dominated by social media conversation applications, with one dedicated RSS reader, and one breaking news service. But what unites all of these services is their focus on real-time delivery: for me, Pubsubhubbub is the one that stands out. Very interesting list.
